ChatHealth Featured in National NHS Blueprinting Programme

ChatHealth is now featured in the National NHS Blueprinting programme, with a new Blueprint-on-a-Page published on NHS Futures to support organisations considering the adoption of the safe and secure messaging service.

The NHS Blueprinting programme shares learning from successful digital transformation projects to help NHS organisations implement proven digital solutions more quickly and effectively.

Developed by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, ChatHealth enables secure two-way messaging conversations between service users and health professionals. The Blueprint highlights the key benefits of ChatHealth, lessons learned from implementation and practical considerations for organisations looking to use secure messaging to deliver care in a modern, accessible and responsive way. Designed for programme and project managers, delivery team, clinicians, digital leads and senior decision makers, the Blueprint provides a practical resource for services exploring secure messaging as part of their digital transformation programmes.

Now used by more than 200 NHS services nationwide, ChatHealth supports a wide range of services including school nursing, health visiting, sexual health, mental health (including crisis), neurodiversity and specialist services. Its widespread adoption demonstrates how secure messaging can help services to extend their reach, improve accessibility and remove barriers to support.

The ChatHealth Blueprint-on-a-Page is available to registered FutureNHS users at https://future.nhs.uk/connect.ti/GDEcommunity/viewdocument?docID=302528101
